Creases staff and customers agreed to have an amount added to their ironing bill following the event. Over 5200 runners completed the 10 km course around Hyde Park on Sunday 18th May, including Capital FM DJ’s Kate Lawler, Justin Wilkes, Becky Jago and Martin Collins and Pop Idol Will Young. They and many others helped to raise more money for Help a London Child than ever before. Will Young came in 22nd place with an impressive time of 39 mins 20 secs. Not far behind the winner Hassam Raidi who ran the course in 32mins 25 seconds. The Creases finish time was 1 hour 7 mins and raised several hundred pounds for Help a London child.

CREASES commits to charity events wherever possible. We make a monthly contribution to our local hospice and instead of sending our customers Christmas cards, we make a donation to a charity that supports families affected by autism.

Here Robert Breakwell, the Iain Rennie hospice appeals and communications director presents Helen and Joe a certificate in recognition of their charitable work.
